Tony Tortorella Takes Helm

Rochester, NY—Tony J. Tortorella has been appointed to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of E-chx, Inc., one of the nation’s leading payroll providers serving the small and mid-sized business communities. Tortorella was formerly the Vice President of Sales for the Human Resources division of Paychex. 

 

A nationally known industry executive with more than 22 years’ experience, Tortorella served in various Operations and Sales Management positions prior to his appointment as a Vice President and Officer at Paychex in 2003. Tony was instrumental in founding and developing the Human Resource Services Division, which included more than 850 sales representatives and 140 field managers across the country. Under his direction, the Paychex HRS sales force achieved national acclaim as the largest and most productive force in the human resources outsourcing field.

Tortorella holds a bachelor’s degree in management from St. John Fisher College in Rochester. He lives in Fairport with his wife, Patti, and their two children.
